Vehicle coding

Module coding and configuration after part replacement, retrofits and feature activation where the manufacturer allows it.

When a control module, injector, battery or camera is replaced, the vehicle often needs to be told about it. Coding updates the vehicle's configuration so new parts work correctly and warning lights do not return.

We also handle manufacturer-supported feature configuration and retrofits. We do not carry out coding that defeats safety or emissions systems.

Problems this service addresses

  • Warning light after a part was replaced
  • New battery, injectors or sensors need registering
  • Replacement module shows as not configured
  • Retrofitted equipment needs activating
  • Settings lost after a module reset

How the work is done

  1. 1

    Identify what changed

We confirm the replaced part and the coding the vehicle requires.

  2. 2

    Code and adapt

The module is coded with manufacturer-level tools and adaptations are completed.

  3. 3

    Verify

Fault memories are cleared and the system is checked for correct operation.
